Updated burner calendar and membership

New burner calendar

OK, since we now have 13 members, the last burner calendar in which each of us was assigned a month in perpetuity won't work. However, I would like to get it on a regular rotation so I'm not constantly having to get folks to sign up and whatnot. So, I'm just going to assign a random order and that'll be the order, OK? McDowell suggested new members should be put at the top of the list, so that's what I've done. When we get to the end, we'll just start over in the same order as listed below. If someone drops out, the next person in rotation moves up.
Also, I have not gotten a disc from anyone in quite a while and I think it's time to revisit purging the slackers from the group. In the past, I've given members 6 months to get their discs out, but frankly I think that's far too long. If no one has any objections, I'm going to shorten that to 2 months. If you want to weigh in on the subject, speak now or shut the hell up!

Purging the slackers

OK, I hate to do this, but you have both been nagged, warned, badgered and cajoled to no avail. If you do not send out the CDs you were supposed to send MONTHS ago, we will drop you from the club and you won't get anymore super cool, free music!

OK, so in addition to one helluva weekend, McD & Mary Pat's wedding also was the genesis of this blog. Jill, Erin and I were chilling at the pool, talking about new music and Jill had the brilliant idea to do a CD exchange to introduce each other to new music. Erin and I were immediately on board and started spreading the word!

Soooo here's how it works: Each month, one person burns their new fave CD and sends it to everyone else in the group. The more people who participate, the more new music we all receive and the less often we have to actually do anything. ;-)

Now before you sign up, remember when it's your month, you will have to purchase, burn, and mail out a dozen or so discs, so don't be a mooch and sign up then never send out your discs, OK? We're just talking about maybe $20 bucks and a couple hours of your time - if you can't spare that for some free music, don't bother, a'ight?

OK, with that out of the way, those of you who are left, just fill out the form below and I'll add you to the list. (NOTE: Each person on the list will receive a copy of your mailing address so they can send the discs to you.)
I'll post each month's CD and a schedule of burners on this blog - so let's get grooving!
